The production line in the smart factory tour course is the newest production line introduced in May 2018. It produces 0.5-liter Samdasoo bottled water, and it produces around 76,000 bottles thanks to the world’s fastest unmanned automation system of the plant.
Jeju Samdasoo factory makes plastic bottles and caps for Samdasoo water to ensure product safety and quality management. The production process room in the photo is where the bottles are made, and the water purification room is where the purified water is filled in the water bottles and becomes Samdasoo products
Transparent and round plastic free forms are heated and compressed by the free form heater. After that, the free form goes through a process called blowing (free form mold blows compressed air to expand the plastic) to be made into water bottles. When the bottles are thoroughly checked for any foreign substances and cleanly washed, the water filler fills clean water into the bottle, seals the cap and sends the filled water bottles to Samdasoo production line.
