Integrated Public Housing Brand

Background

  • Through development of a brand (naming and BI) that represents JPDC’s public housing efforts, we seek to improve public awareness of JPDC and meet societal expectations.

  • Brand: Maum Home
    • Dedicated to building homes that provide stability and shelter for their residents, Maum Home helps people realize their dream of living in a home that’s ideal for them. In Korean, maum means ‘heart’ or ‘feeling,’ reflecting the brand’s philosophy of offering what dwellers really want in their hearts.
  • Brand Slogan: A Home for the Future
    • Our slogan spells out our dedication to provide stability with public housing – a home fitted with futuristic smart systems – to help residents design a future for themselves.

 

Brand Design

Our symbol logo is a combination of the Korean characters ㅁ and ㅇ, consonants that are included in the Korean word maum, or ‘heart.’ This represents how each family member comes home to build a happy life. A sense of warmth is evoked by the warm grey with orange highlights, creating a brand image that represents Jeju. It is also a representation of the willingness and hope local residents have for their future.
